The event of the fall, featuring a show of the
latest fashion and eclectic art, will be an affair to remember
as members of the LA fashion and art communities, as well as
generous sponsors, all pull together to raise much needed relief
The Los Angeles Times, KTLA-TV and the McCormick Tribune
Foundation have teamed up to create a fire relief campaign to
raise funds for agencies that help those affected by these
devastating fires.
The Foundation will match at least the first $500,000 raised at
fifty cents on the dollar, with additional matching funds
available based on fundraising response.
The Los Angeles Times, KTLA, and the Foundation will cover all
administrative costs, so 100% of your donation plus the match
will be granted to organizations supporting disaster response
and recovery in Southern California.
As we all know too well, the recent wildfires in Southern California have
devastated so many families in their wake. In an attempt to alleviate some of
this suffering, Oasis Locations in association with Barcelona Event Management
are hosting a charity evening to raise much needed funds. The venue is the new
hotspot for LA’s fashion and art events and is sure to turn on the glitz and
glamour for this special occasion.
Upon arrival there will be a complimentary valet service and the evening will
begin with guests being treated to fine wine and hors d’ oeuvres as they enter a
space filled with exceptional local art open to bidding via silent auction. The
food and drink will flow all night as guests move to the runway showroom for a
full-scale catwalk experience featuring the classically beautiful designs of
Rochelle Rodriguez. This will then be followed by a live auction where guests
can show their support for the victims of the recent blazes and pick up some
great pieces in the process. And as the evening winds down, why not retire to
the patio for dessert and cigars if you are so inclined.
Organizers have been overwhelmed with the amount of support that has flooded in
for this event. Event sponsors include Paul Mitchell Hair Care, Porsche and Audi
of Downtown LA, Patron Tequila, Malibu Family Wines, Flower Power, Good Gracious
Events and Small Potatoes Catering.
